healthy or not?

There's a numerous fastfood/restaurant in my college building.
More than 25 choices every lunch or whenever you feel like eating.
And I always choose healthy.
But of all those food chains, there's just nothing that fits that category. :'(

But okay. Face it. I just want delicious food that fits my budget.

:)

So, what I had for lunch?
Lasagna, mashed potato and fresh strawberry shake for take-out!
To-go because we thought we're having our Law class today.
I bought it with Trish and we had a good choice!
Everything on just P95($2).

And today, I finally gave in.
Remember I have my self-imposed ban from McDo?
It feels like I'm missing half of my life without it.
I hate that I love you!

Definitely, NOT healthy!

578th day.

Dear A,

Thank you for accomplishing with moi one of the stuffs I have on my invisible to-do-list.

That is, to eat a whole cake with you.

And yes, we finished 'em all!
We started small, we'll have a bigger one next time!!

And thank you for that paper bag. Chos! :)
But you know, I wanted the orange paper bag more.
:D

Now, practice more on your Math skills. 578 is official, not two days ago. Who knows? You might have your Wayfarer soon. Just answer my questions right!

:))

i'm growing up!

You have to congratulate me!
Today, I made my own breakfast all by myself :)

My own version of a French Toast.

I know it's just a french toast but I still cooked it
in a pan. I dipped the sliced bread in a mix
of egg and milk. Plus butter.

plus hot chocolate milk drink. yummm...

My addiction for breakfast.
My mom approves to it because she was surprised
that I love it albeit it's made from egg.
And I don't eat egg.
Because I'm weird. :)
And it looks slimy.

nachos and concert day in campus

We had another Nachos day! Thanks to my friend Mina!
She makes the best cheese dip! I even got a copy of her recipe. :)

And because I love sharing I would tell you the contents of the dip:
50% cheese salsa, 25% tomato salsa, 25% milk
nachos chips, cheese dip, ground beefs and sliced jalapeno
The best!

digging-in the Nachos!

And OH!

Free concert later on the historical Main Field.
Take note of the word "historical" there.
It's just been proclaimed by the National Museum
as a Natural Cultural Treasure.
Together with the Main Building, the Central Seminary
and the Arch of the Centuries .

More reasons to love my uni.

waiting waiting for the concert to start.

Iboto mo Patrol ko concert
with numerous bands and singers!

love post (4/?)

I know I'm the cherry on top.
I'm a believer.

But sometimes its hard when you feel you're not.
You just keep your hopes up.
Knowing that you're only hoping.
Presuming.
Yes, that's the word.

It's so hard being in this situation.
I pray.
Thank goodness i have Him.
At least He loves me unconditionally.

(love post because I love cakes and I love to hate)

makizushi

my friend Zac makes one of the best maki! :)

He brings maki to school so often lately. I was never a fan of sushi/maki not until now that he introduced me to it.

lavet!

He just turned 19 today and he treated us pizza plus homemade makis. I got to take home 6. Makes me so full! Had it for dinner. Thanks Zac! :)

Army Navy

Because exams are finally over, we have to reward ourselves. Watched Shirlock Holmes to unwind and dined here after for merienda. I really really really have to brag it here!

classic burger (P135), onion rings (P60), chocolate milkshake (P90)
With this three, you're solved! I love the onion rings' crispiness.
I can actually eat the whole order because I didn't get fed up of the rings like what usually happens to me.
The milkshake is just as great.
They also have double patty(185) and triple patty (P?) and Burritos too!

SALIVATING! It's divine.

Kins putting condiments on his burger.
Kins= Mayo and Ketchup.
Mine= Ketchup and Mustard.
I loathe mayonnaise. As always.

Every taste of their burger is described beyond words. Plus the factor that it's wallet friendly. You'll never go wrong.

No more Wendy's bacon mushroom melt for us. Haha. Kidding! You should try. :) I tell you.
Located at Glorietta 5 and in other places. Google it.

Funny Fro-Yoh moment with Kins.

Kins: Oh! Bakit ang asim!? Why does it tastes sour!?
G: Because it's yogurt!
Kins: Seriously??
G:You're funny.

Mine's so yummy! My goodness!!

You know when he doesn't like it. :)

Cafe Juanita

Kins helping manong driver locate our destination. Good thing we've searched it on google map first!

spotted: Cafe Juanita
United St. cor. West Capitol Drive in Pasig

Inside Juanita. For me, it's kind of our local Serendipity restaurant, hidden here in the Metro. Its biggest asset is art of miss match of things mixed with different kind of lights to create an eclectic romantic ambiance.

G: I wonder why we never knew abt this palce. If we didn't reserve for sure we won't be accommodated.
Kins: Maybe through word of mouth or like you... through the net.

We we're asked to choose between the buffet or the À la carte (menu). They only have buffet every Sunday lunch.
Buffet: Asian Filipino Cuisine. When kins spotted the Lechon Kawali and the rest, no more second thoughts. Buffet!

My plate: Lechon Kawali, Shianghai, Laing, Kare-kare and rice. Too bad for the low quality of the photo but believe me, its beyond words. rapsa!

Kins had two rounds.
Kins: It's my first time to eat at a buffet that every food tasted so well. Quality over quanitity.
I agree.

And this soup is devine!! Sinampalukang manok soup.

Our dessert! Halo-halo, minatamis na saba and ginatang halo-halo. They also have puto maruya and the like.

Kins felt kinda creepy with the masks all over the place especially the ones beside him:

In the end, he said its not pala. :))

More photos:

the chandelier on top of our table and the bell which you can ring when you need them.
Bill: P1131.35 - buffet for two plus drinks (bottomless iced tea, rootbeer)
You could never go wrong.

I wasn't paid for this but I hope they'll have promos when you blog about their restaurant.
LOL :)
Off to study!
